Our handbags are handcrafted using traditional macrame weaving techniques and a stunning collaboration with  Wire Artists.  Please note that we are a slow fashion brand and do not always have readily available stock thus we give an allowance of up to 3- 6 weeks for orders to be completed and shipped. A full payment is required for all  ORDERS, and orders will be processed immediately, once payment is made.

Responsibility To Our Artisans

We are fully committed to social development in communities of the countries we work by providing our artisan partners competitive salaries and benefits. While research and experience has proved this evidently changes livelihoods, as a brand we go one step further to ensure that communities are sustainably thriving. For every product purchased, a percentage of the profits go into a pot which is collectively shared amongst our artisans to enable them to sustainably fund their own creative projects. 

Our Social Responsibility 

When you purchase any of our  products you are making a contribution towards our training  programmes for young women living in marginalised communities who may want to get into fashion  but have no means to do so. A percentage of the funds go towards basic fashion 101 and  helping them to set up functional businesses  within their communities. Thank you in advance.

Fair trade products can be more expensive than mainstream design products as we aim to provide fair wages to our artisan partners. VV is committed to ensuring that our partners benefit from our profits and the communities they represent.  We thank our loyal and discerning  customers who make the fair trade framework a working model. As a brand we are becoming increasingly aware of sustainable production and consumption. We are having conversations with our consumers about the life cycle of our products so they understand how we can do more and better as a brand with less. Our brand is encouraging lifestyles built on sustainable models that exclusively focus on the preservation of resources and the environment. We must be responsible and seek to adapt consumption that respects the environment and encourages social and economic equity. Responsible consumption is everybody's business.
